To loose weight, so I look and feel better, also to become more active!
I go to the gym 3 times a week, so I am in fair shape, however I have high cholesterol, and I do not want to take the medication! My goal is to lower it with diet and exercise. I am watching what I eat very carefully (thanks for all the great recipes) and I am trying to become more active! I just bought a bike and have a 5 day trip planned in early May! Time for action!!
Eating out for lunch is convenient, especially if you work away from home. However, restaurant food can be shockingly high in calories. How often do you eat lunch out? Do you try to make healthy choices? What can you do to incorporate more food groups into your lunch?
Salad dressings can be a killer, and often order salads when out ..... so I try to carry my own dressing made with a high quality olive oil, mix of regular and balsmic dressing and a Good Seasons package of italian. This way my fat is high quality and I am able to control my sugar. I try to order my salad carefully with lots of veggies and not so much garnish!
